Its a shame that when most people hear that bassline, they think of Vanilla Ice. Queen are an awesome band, and I think that a lot of people tend to overlook them by only knowing Bohemian Rhasphody, We Will Rock You and Another One Bites the Dust. Under Pressure is probably my favourite Queen song. There’s something about the mix between David Bowe’s deep and grounded voice with Freddie’s flighty, high vocals that just makes this song great. There’s also something about the lyrics that’s inspiring, about how you still need to go that extra bit further even when you’re under pressure. And with the way things are in my life right now, I’m definately under pressure.
