Today was Superbowl Day. I’m such an American culture junkie. Even though my Colts didn’t win (you’re still one of the best QBs in my mind Peyton), the New Orleans Saints did deserve the win. Anyway, the Superbowl Halftime Show is almost as important as the game itself and the ads that accompany it. The Superbowl is one of the greatest spectacles of American culture, a celebration of everything they’re about. And what better way to celebrate American culture than to have a 40 year old British rock band play during halftime.
Ouch. With that said, I love The Who (and pretty much every band during the British Invasion period of Rock) and without a doubt Won’t Get Fooled Again is their best song.
